WHAT IS COLLAGEN?

Collagen is the most important and abundant protein in the human body (it makes up 35% of all proteins). It is the main component of all connective tissues, skin, muscles, blood vessels, bones, joints and cartilage, providing them with structure, strength and elasticity.

There are several types of collagen in the human body, but the most important are:

  • Collagen Type III - especially important for blood vessels and muscles, and it’s also found in some vital organs (lungs, liver, spleen). It supports the immune system, aids digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Collagen Type I and Type III should be taken together in order to get the best results, while collagen type 2 should be taken separately from them so that it can be properly and fully absorbed.

    • Adults and children over 12 years: 3 g (1 dosage spoon) per day dissolved in 150-200 ml. water.
    • Children from 3 - 12 years: 1 g (a third of a dosage teaspoon) per day dissolved in 100 ml of water, juice, milk or yogurt

    Maximum recommended dose:

    • Adults and children over 12 years: 30 doses of 3 g
    • Children from 3 - 12 years: 90 doses of 1 g
SHOULD I TAKE BREAKS FROM USING THE DIMAS COLOSTRUM?

We recommend that you take the Dimas Colostrum on a daily basis, for a minimum of three months and until you feel an improvement. There is no need to take a break in consumption.

IS DIMAS COLOSTRUM SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS?

Because colostrum supplements are of animal origin, they are not suitable for people who follow a vegan or vegetarian diet.
